From Every Angle: Redesigning How Visitors Discover and Navigate Mt. Seymour Before They Ever Arrive

Hospitality & Tourism
The resort already had a virtual tour in place, but it had grown visually outdated and no longer matched the quality of the actual on-mountain experience. I was brought on to completely revamp it, with the goal of creating something modern, immersive, and genuinely useful for both first-time visitors and returning guests.

The redesigned tour uses high-resolution 360° photography, integrated video content, and an interactive trail map that lets users orient themselves across the entire resort. Visitors can explore ski runs, lifts, terrain parks, snowshoe trails, and summer lookouts, all while getting a clear sense of how the mountain is laid out and how to get there.

The aerial footage acts as a central navigation tool, giving users a bird's-eye perspective that ties everything together and makes the experience feel grounded and intuitive.

Built with responsive design and smooth interactivity across devices, the tour now serves as a practical tool for marketing, visitor orientation, and seasonal promotion. It gives newcomers the confidence to plan a visit by demystifying the mountain's layout, while showcasing the features that make Mt. Seymour a standout destination for those who already know it well.
